Our Story
Hi, I’m Rosie, an interior designer with over 11 years of experience in the furniture industry and a diploma in interior design. Before making my way back to my true passion, I worked as a veterinary nurse, a career path that was fueled by my love of animals. However, the call of interior design was always there, and I’ve now come full circle, returning to the field I left school to pursue.
Growing up in a family surrounded by builders, artists, and furniture makers, I was constantly immersed in the world of renovation and design. It was a natural environment that shaped my eye for detail and love for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
I live in a small beach suburb on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island with my husband and teenage children. Inspired by nature, my design style embraces neutral, earthy interiors that create calm, welcoming spaces—ones that feel like a peaceful Sunday at home.
Through Sunday Haus Studio, my goal is to infuse that effortless sense of comfort and relaxation into daily living. Each project is thoughtfully designed to balance aesthetics and functionality, creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply lived in.
